First Saturday Devotion, 5th September 2020

 

Two Friars of the Marian Franciscans of Gosport will be coming to St Mary Magdalen Church to run a First Saturday devotional day of reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, including Rosary at 9.30am, Mass in the Extraordinary Form at 10:00am, followed by Exposition, Adoration and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. There will be opportunity during the day for Confession. 

Sadly, due to Covid-19 restrictions, we will not be gathering for lunch in the community centre. Come and honour the Most Holy and Immaculate Mother of God and make reparation for sins against her Immaculate Heart.

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

  

The Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is on Sunday 16th August having been transferred by the Bishops of England and Wales.

While the Bishops of England and Wales have dispensed the Faithful from attending Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation such as this, Mass for this great feast will be at 10.30am and 5pm this Sunday.

Come and honour the Immaculate mother of God and her glorious Assumption into Heaven, body and soul, where she intercedes for us by her Divine Son.
