St Mary Magdalene’s Catholic Primary and Nursery School is a one-form entry located next to the church, providing education for children from Nursery through to Year 6.
Our school is a warm, nurturing environment where every child is supported to achieve their full academic potential. We are proud that our pupils are successful academically. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted - "Pupils feel at home in this school, which serves as a safe and comforting place for them to learn." The school also has an OPAL Play Platinum Award, recognising the high-quality outdoor play and learning opportunities provided for all children. Our dedicated staff support both the pupils and the wider school community, helping every child thrive. This is a highly inclusive, multicultural school where pupils come from many different backgrounds and faiths, mix well together, and enjoy learning in a safe and supportive environment. As part of their learning, children visit St Mary Magdalene’s Church at timetabled times during the school year for services and celebrations, helping to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith.
